Pawalgarh Prakrati Prahari


Pawalgarh Prakrati Prahari (PPP), a not-for-profit nature conservation society, was formed in Pawalgarh Conservation Reserve, Nainital District, Uttarakhand in Dec 2015. The main objective of the society is to support nature conservation, environment protection and sustainable living by promoting alternate livelihoods such as ecotourism through village homestays, nature tours with experienced guides and promoting local produce and cuisine in the landscape of the Pawalgarh Conservation Reserve in Nainital District, Uttarakhand, India. more »


To incentivize nature conservation, the main alternate livelihood focus of the Society is ecotourism focused on:
  • Village homestays for a unique rural experience
  • Nature tours with trained guides focused on birds, butterflies as well as other flora and fauna
  • Local produce and interpretation material

These activities are offered for:
  • Individuals & groups
  • Schools & institutions
